L&P in MLPS Taps

Room 2 has come up with a way to make Marshall Laing Primary School world famous. We think L&P should come out of our school taps. We have been learning about persuasive writing. We have written letters to our school Principal to persuade her to help us do this. We hope she agrees with our idea. After all who wouldn't want to be Principal of a famous school?

Room 2 Digging for Potatoes

On Thursday 9th June Room 2 dug potatoes from our vege garden. We knew it was time to because the potato plants on top had died. Joshua removed the tyre where the potatoes were buried. Then we all took turns using the fork to dig around for potatoes. We dug up 12 potatoes! Some were a good size and some were very little. This week we are going to cook them!

We had so much fun planting and watering our seedlings in our class vege garden. We were all so patient taking turns and helping each other too.

Green Day Vege Gardening

Room 2 has our very own vegetable garden. We planted our seedlings on Green Day. We all wore green clothes on Green Day to get into the spirit of things.
